In 2025, we supplied and commissioned a 20,000\u202fm\u00b3\/year autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) block manufacturing plant<\/strong> for a building materials company in Cameroon. This installation supports local production of lightweight AAC blocks to serve residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction projects in Douala, Yaound\u00e9 and other major urban centres. The plant was configured to suit Cameroon\u2019s raw material availability, workforce conditions, and operational requirements, enabling stable production and consistent product quality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

AAC blocks meet these needs and offer a lightweight and energy\u2011efficient alternative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite ongoing demand, imported AAC products have faced challenges such as fluctuating supply and higher costs due to import dependencies. The client is a Cameroonian construction materials supplier aiming to diversify from traditional block distribution toward in\u2011house manufacturing. Before this project, AAC blocks were either imported or sourced from distant suppliers, which affected lead times and increased costs. To gain a better market position and improve supply reliability, the client opted for a 20,000\u202fm\u00b3\/year AAC block plant<\/strong> tailored to local market demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
